Thank you very much for your message. I’m glad you enjoyed my article. You’re so right to plan a trip in NZ ! You’ll love it !! I had the Max Pass but chose to fly from Christchurch to Auckland at the end of my trip. Which is the equivalent of the Moe Pass.
But yeah you can definitely stay longer in a place and rebook your buses. And if you’re not sure with the application you can call them or send them an email and they will do it for you. Sometimes it was more complicated to find an accommodation when it was in small places because of the high season. But usually there is no problem at all. I really hope you will have a great experience as I’ve had ! For my part, I didn’t make any changes because I didn’t have time to. But if you have some extra days : Abel Tasman, Wanaka or Queenstown are really worthy!

Read your article about your nz trip and became very enthusiastic. I am planning to go to nz and I wanna travel with stray too. I hope you can give sone advice:)

I think I will choose the moe-pass, I guess its the same as yours? Was it easy to rebook the buses etc when you decided to stay longer at one place? Or did you plan it all before and didnt change it? What places would you recommend to stay a bit longer? Since I have 28 days to travel from auckland to christurch I cannot stay too long at one place.
